X870E AORUS PRO ICE tương thích với các CPU AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 và 7000 series thông qua socket AM5. Mainboard cung cấp 4 khe cắm DIMM hỗ trợ RAM DDR5 với tổng dung lượng lên tới 256GB. Đặc biệt, nó có khả năng ép xung RAM lên đến tần số 8000MHz, mang lại hiệu năng bộ nhớ cực kỳ ấn tượng.
Mainboard được trang bị 3 khe PCIe x16, trong đó có 1 khe PCIe 5.0 x16 tích hợp trên CPU để lắp card đồ họa hiệu năng cao. Ngoài ra còn có 4 khe M.2 cho SSD NVMe, bao gồm 3 khe PCIe 5.0 và 1 khe PCIe 4.0, cùng 4 cổng SATA 6Gb/s cho ổ cứng truyền thống.
